Norton Safe Web, from Symantec - report for clickpotato.tv
This is an example of what I mean by confusing, because everything is Green from Norton (and even me), but two other regular users did not notice the differences that I pointed out.

Norton is shit

"Norton is shit", well, that's what Darren says anyway. I can definitely say that Norton is improving. My mom has Norton 360, which is the only antivirus software that is compatible for the HP computers. She purchased it on sale for $15. It was originally something like $80. Darren doesn't have experience with HP computers, because he doesn't own an HP computer like I do. My mom has a desktop and I have a laptop.

For HP, Norton is by far the best.

Re: Norton is shit

As a programmer you might know what heuristic means. I think it is a AI characteristic type of identification and only because a program looks suspicious. The thing I had to do was change the default for heuristics to OFF. And people leave comments and say thank you Norton for removing this bad thing, but at Norton's website everything is GREEN about the file.

This is one of the bad things about Web 2.0 or Social Networking, because there are some technical areas that people will vote by popularity which I know you well enough by now that you don't like following the crowd and that is good.

heuristic def. Re: Norton is shit

No, but I looked it up on Wikipedia. It is "from the Greek "Εὑρίσκω" for "find" or "discover") and refers to experience-based techniques for problem solving, learning, and discovery."

(quoted from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heuristic)

If a lot of people just guess rather than know by technical experimentation, that proves how many noobs there are (at least that's what Darren would say).

Re: heuristic def. Re: Norton is shit

And I could also use your words, but rephrased a bit like this: AI or Artificial Intelligence is a computer programs that 'learns' based on ITS experience THAT then CREATE its on subroutines OR techniques for problem solving OF suspected virus due to programming structures that have a large ratio of matching previous known computer viruses. And BTW most computer viruses have been created by the USA to fight other computers abroad in nations we like for awhile and the decide we don't if it is not in the best INTEREST for the BANKERS! (That is a play on words. get it INTEREST and Banks! hah-hah hah-haaaa!)

Oh and Franck has NORTON 360! That faceless one on YouTube 'franckato' he used to have McCaffe or whatever the name it is called. I have ESSENTIAL from Microsoft. What have you got?
