Complying with Do Not Call

Complying with Do Not Call

Uploaded by FTCvideos on Oct 20, 2010

An important thing to know is that this includes automated surveys from a business that you still have dealings with, but you must notify them over the phone or through an email.  Then you must give them 30 days to comply.

If you market your products or services by phone -- or if someone has hired you to handle their telemarketing for them -- it's a good idea to know about the Do Not Call provisions of the Telemarketing Sales Rule and how to comply.

Your registration will not expire. Telephone numbers placed on the National Do Not Call Registry will remain on it permanently due to the Do-Not-Call Improvement Act of 2007, which became law in February 2008. Read more about it at:
Attention sellers and telemarketers YOU should go to

In order to subscribe to the National Do Not Call Registry.
If you are an exempt organization, and you wish to scrub your call lists, you may subscribe, but are not required to do so.

You brought this up again!?!

Hey, KC, what's up with this? You shared the same video with the same links, in a similar blog entry that you made a year ago. Did you forget that you already posted this?

My grandma is on the Do Not Call List, and things are getting a little bit better than they have in the past on the amount of telemarketer calls. She's been retired for a while, so that may be why. She was the president of a trucking company, called "Temple Trucking Inc", which no longer exists.

Re: You brought this up again!?!

Guess what? I am retired, too... From USAF and I make over $51,000 a year tax free!

But I get survey calls from BofA (Bank of America). So in a secure message inside BofA I gave them some of the essential information and the short URL to this page.

Because a picture is worth a thousand words (as I remember that phase) so maybe a video might be worth a million. (Now isn't that cute....)

And I just got off the phone 5 minutes ago talking to Christina Cordova. She was calling me Kenneth, and I told to just call me KC. She then allowed me to call he Christi because I will soon be listed (for a small price of $218.16) in Stanford Who's Who Executive Business Network.
